10.12.2009. As the year quickly winds to a close, I notice there's a new review of The States in Realtime Arts. There's also a video on YouTube - thanks to the great camera work of Simon Wearne.

15.11.2009. Had a fantastic week at PASIC in Indianapolis...thanks to everyone who helped us out with our performances of Concerto for Prepared Piano and Percussion and Spill - especially huge thanks to Greg Beyer for being such a great host...His group, the NIU ensemble, was a highlight of the week, as was Yale Percussion Ensemble performing James Wood, & many others. Had a chance to meet heaps of really creative percussionists from around the country, and catch up with some old friends...

15.10.2009. Finished a fantastic season of The States at Judith Wright Centre. Thanks to everyone who helped make it happen! Here's an arrangement of Amazing Grace you've probably never heard before: voice (Alison St. Ledger), erhu (Nicholas Ng), bicycle pump membranophone (Joel Stern), piano (Erik Griswold), organ (Steve Newcomb). Getting ready to head to America for Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC). We'll be presenting my pieces "Concerto for Prepared Piano and Percussion" and "Spill" on Nov 11.
